Visual arts museum for contemporary south American art in the city centre of Rio De Janeiro. Lighting design, planning and bringing into operation the exhibition halls, all public areas including out-door areas. Our conceptual formulation set out to both achieve lighting of a superiorly even quality in the exhibition rooms and to ensure the curators could focus illumination on chosen objects. To illuminate the impressive entrance hall and tall high corridors we designed customized lustres to enhance their elegant impact. In the exterior area we focused on creating an atmospheric, serene yet expansive lightening.
