New construction with subterranean access to the existing museum. Lighting design of the artificial light as well as planning of the realisation for exhibition spaces and all other public zones. Our ambition was to facilitate an utmost immaculate presentation of the art-works, to create exhibition surfaces where nothing would deflect attention away from the strong impact of the art-works. This is achieved by an extremely consistent light distribution on the wall spaces, which can be adjusted on demand and supplemented by directed spot-lights. In the lofty stairways we worked with expressive directional light lines.
