The exhibition ‘Making NUNO – Japanese Textile Innovation from Sudō Reiko’ examines the work of the renowned Japanese textile designer, Sudō Reiko, whose innovative approach breaks through the boundaries of traditional textile manufacturing, paving the way for new methods of sustainable production. In the exhibition titled NUNO, the visitor can expect five large-format installations that plainly demonstrate the complex production process involved in the materials designed by Sudō Reiko. To accompany the exhibition, drawings, sketches, raw materials and design prototypes will be on show.
