We were involved from conception to the realisation of the artificial lighting for all exterior spaces. Freilager Area project at Albisrieden stands out due to the need for differentiated multi-functional purposes: it’s a ’pow wow’ of living, trade, gastronomy and slow moving traffic in one compound. The different zones demand individual lighting solutions. This differentiation facilitates an easy and clear orientation of inhabitants, guests and visitors. Thus lighting fixtures become media of signage. In this project dimmable LED’s have been used exclusively.
